Ingredients
Scale
Beef Marinade
- 200g beef, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Ramen and Sauce
- 2 packs of Korean ramen noodles
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef: Combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well, then cover and let it marinate for 30 minutes to infuse flavors.
- Grill the Beef: Preheat the grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef slices until they are nicely seared and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side depending on thickness. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Cook Ramen Noodles: Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Creamy Sauce: In a pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the gochujang and stir well to combine and release its aroma.
- Add Heavy Cream: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened to create a creamy, spicy sauce.
- Toss Noodles in Sauce: Add the cooked ramen noodles into the pan with the creamy gochujang sauce. Toss thoroughly to ensure the noodles are evenly coated.
- Serve: Plate the creamy spicy ramen and top with the grilled beef slices. Garnish with chopped green onions for a fresh finish and serve immediately.
Notes
- For more heat, add extra gochujang or a pinch of chili flakes.
- If heavy cream is unavailable, coconut cream can be used, but the flavor will be slightly different.
- Marinate the beef longer for more intense flavor if time permits.
- Use a grill pan if an outdoor grill is not available.
- This recipe is best enjoyed freshly cooked as the creamy sauce thickens when cooled.
