For the Lollipops
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- â…“ cup light corn syrup
- 1 (0.16 ounce) packet Kool-Aid drink mix, any flavor
Equipment
- Silicone lollipop mold
- Lollipop sticks

Instructions
- Prepare the molds: Place the silicone lollipop mold on a flat surface and insert the lollipop sticks into the designated slots to prepare for pouring the candy mixture.
- Combine ingredients: In a medium-sized pan over medium heat, combine the sugar, water, and light corn syrup. Stir continuously to dissolve the sugar and ensure even heating.
- Boil to temperature: When the mixture begins to boil, insert the candy thermometer and cook without stirring until it reaches 295°F (the hard crack stage), which ensures the lollipops will harden properly.
- Add Kool-Aid powder: Immediately remove the pan from heat and quickly stir in the Kool-Aid drink mix powder until fully incorporated for a vibrant flavor and color.
- Pour mixture: Carefully pour the hot candy syrup into the prepared silicone molds, covering the lollipop sticks and filling each cavity evenly.
- Cool and set: Let the lollipops cool completely at room temperature until they harden—this typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Once set, gently pop the lollipops out of the molds and enjoy.
