Description
A quick and flavorful Hot Honey Chicken Bowl featuring juicy pan-seared chicken breasts drizzled with spicy-sweet hot honey, served over fresh mixed greens with crisp cucumber and creamy avocado for a balanced and vibrant meal.
Ingredients
Scale
Chicken and Marinade
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp hot honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Salad Base
- 2 cups mixed greens
- 1/2 cup cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper to enhance flavor.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Drizzle Hot Honey: Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and place it on a plate. Drizzle the hot honey evenly over the chicken to coat it, allowing the sweet heat to infuse the meat.
- Assemble the Bowl: Divide the mixed greens between two bowls. Top with sliced cucumber and avocado, then add the hot honey-coated chicken on top.
- Serve: Optionally, add your favorite dressing or a simple vinaigrette for extra flavor. Serve immediately while the chicken is warm and juicy.
