Ingredients
Scale
Burger Patties
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Wrap Assembly
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Mix and Shape Patties: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly, then form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Cook Patties: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are fully cooked through.
- Melt Cheese: While the patties are cooking, place a flour tortilla on a flat surface. Once each burger patty is cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top and allow it to melt.
- Assemble Wraps: Place a cooked cheeseburger in the center of each tortilla. Add shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced pickles, ketchup, and mustard over the patty.
- Wrap It Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll it up tightly to form a secure wrap.
- Grill the Wraps: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet and cut each in half before serving for easy handling.
Notes
- You can substitute cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese like mozzarella or pepper jack for a different flavor.
- For a healthier option, consider using whole wheat or low-carb tortillas.
- If you prefer a spicier wrap, add some sliced jalapenos or hot sauce inside.
- Make sure to cook the burger patties thoroughly to a safe internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Leftover wraps can be wrapped in foil and refrigerated for up to 2 days; reheat in a skillet to maintain the crispy exterior.
