- 1 Tbsp Greek seasoning
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp olive oil

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) to prepare for baking the dip squares.
- Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, Greek seasoning, olive oil, and diced tomatoes. Mix thoroughly to create a smooth and uniform cheese spread.
- Assemble Squares: Spread an even layer of the cheese mixture generously on each slice of rye or pumpernickel bread. Arrange the topped bread slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, allowing the cheese mixture to warm and slightly meld into the bread.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately garnish each square with chopped fresh basil leaves. Serve warm as a delightful appetizer or party snack.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
- Use fresh diced tomatoes without excess juice to avoid soggy bread.
- The dip squares are best served warm but can also be enjoyed at room temperature.
- Substitute party rye with pumpernickel or any sturdy bread that can hold the topping well.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat before serving.
