Instructions
- Prep the Rolls: Slice the King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves on a greased sheet pan to prepare for layering.
- Layer the Meats and Veggies: On the bottom halves, layer provolone cheese first, then add pepperoni, salami, and ham slices as desired. Spread about 1/2 cup of banana pepper rings evenly, followed by thinly sliced red onion to add flavor and texture. Finally, top with mozzarella cheese slices and cover with the top halves of the rolls.
- Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of melted butter with 1/2 teaspoon each of Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Mix well to evenly incorporate the seasonings.
- Brush the Rolls: Brush the flavorful butter mixture generously over the tops of the slider rolls to ensure they bake up crispy and aromatic.
- Bake the Sliders: Place the sheet pan in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese has fully melted and the tops are golden and slightly crispy.
- Add Parmesan and Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the warm sliders for a sharp, salty finish. Serve immediately with marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy your delicious Italian sliders!
Notes
- You can adjust the quantity of meats and cheeses to suit your taste preferences or dietary needs.
- For a spicier kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños or substituting spicy pepperoni.
- Use a broiler for 1-2 minutes at the end to crisp the tops if desired, but watch closely to prevent burning.
- These sliders are great for parties, game days, or quick family meals and can be made ahead and reheated.
- If you prefer, substitute mozzarella with provolone or another favorite melting cheese for a different flavor profile.
