Fruits
- 2 cups Assorted Fruits (Choose from strawberries, kiwi, banana, pomegranate, mango, apple, and grapes.)
Instructions
- Warm the Milk: Pour whole milk into a heavy-bottom pot and gently heat it until lukewarm to prepare for custard mixing without lumps.
- Prepare Custard Mixture: In a small bowl, combine custard powder with a few tablespoons of the warm milk to form a smooth paste, ensuring no lumps remain.
- Boil Milk and Add Custard: Bring the remaining milk in the pot to a rolling boil, then slowly incorporate the custard mixture while stirring continuously for about 2 minutes to thicken the custard.
- Add Sugar and Simmer: Stir in sugar and continue boiling for another 2 minutes, then reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the custard reaches a thick, creamy consistency.
- Chill the Custard: Remove the pot from heat, cover it, and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to cool and set.
- Chop Fruits: Just before serving, chop your chosen assortment of fresh fruits into bite-sized pieces for the best texture and flavor.
- Combine Fruits and Custard: Whisk the chilled custard well to remove any lumps, then gently fold in the chopped fruits to distribute them evenly without breaking.
