Peach Dressing Ingredients
- 1 ripe peach, peeled and pitted (or 1/2 cup frozen peach slices, thawed)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or white wine vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1–2 tablespoons water (to thin, if needed)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a blender or food processor, add the peeled and pitted peach, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, and salt.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy. If the dressing is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until you achieve the desired consistency.
- Adjust Seasoning: Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning as needed by adding more vinegar for extra tang or more honey for sweetness.
- Store or Use: Use the dressing immediately on your salad or transfer to a sealed jar; it can be refrigerated for up to 5 days.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
- Frozen peach slices can be substituted; just thaw them before blending.
- Adjust thickness with water depending on your preferred consistency.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 5 days for freshness.
- Perfect for green salads, grain bowls, or as a marinade.
