Instructions
- Heat olive oil: In a small pot over medium heat, warm the olive oil to prepare for sautéing the apples.
- Sauté apples and spices: Add the diced apple, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the pot. Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples start to soften and release their flavors.
- Reserve apple pieces: Remove a few pieces of the softened apple and set them aside. These will be used later as a topping.
- Add oats and almond milk: Pour in the rolled oats and almond milk. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.
