Description

These Cane’s Chicken Biscuits are a delicious and easy-to-make savory treat featuring a crispy biscuit base filled with a cheesy, saucy breaded chicken mixture. Perfect as a hearty appetizer or snack, they combine tender chicken tenders, tangy dipping sauce, and melted cheddar cheese baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Filling

  • 2 cups chopped breaded chicken tenders
  • â…” cup chicken finger dipping sauce
  • 1¼ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Biscuit Cups

  • 2 (6-oz) cans refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits total)
  • Nonstick cooking spray (for muffin pan)
  • Dried parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare muffin pan: Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a regular muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking and allow easy removal of the biscuits.
  2. Mix chicken filling: In a large bowl, combine the chopped breaded chicken tenders, chicken finger dipping sauce, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well to evenly distribute the ingredients, creating a creamy and flavorful filling.
  3. Shape biscuit cups: Open the refrigerated biscuit cans and separate into 10 individual biscuits. Using a rolling pin, roll each biscuit into a larger, thin circle. Press each biscuit firmly into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to form a cup shape that will hold the filling.
  4. Fill and top: Spoon the prepared chicken mixture evenly into each biscuit cup. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each filled biscuit cup to add a cheesy crust once baked.
  5. Bake: Place the muffin pan in the preheated oven and bake the biscuits for 17 to 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove the biscuit cups from the oven and garnish with a sprinkle of dried parsley for added color and flavor. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure to firmly press the biscuit dough into the muffin pan to prevent leaks while baking.
  • You can substitute the chicken finger dipping sauce with ranch dressing or another favorite sauce for a different flavor.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting and taste compared to pre-shredded cheese.
  • These biscuits are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes to regain crispness.
  • For a spicier version, add some chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the chicken filling.
