- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 2 cups romaine or butter lettuce, chopped into bite-sized pieces

Avocado Sauce
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2–3 tablespoons water (to thin the sauce)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon: Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it becomes crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, cut each slice into thirds to make bite-sized pieces.
- Toast the bread cubes: Toast the bread cubes either in a skillet over medium heat or in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown and crunchy. Set aside to cool.
- Assemble the skewers: Take wooden skewers and thread the ingredients in a repeating pattern: one piece of toasted bread, one piece of chopped lettuce, one cherry tomato, and one piece of bacon. Continue this pattern until the skewer is filled, leaving some space at the ends for easy handling.
- Prepare the avocado sauce: In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocado, plain Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped chives, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth. Gradually add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water to achieve a pourable consistency for dipping or drizzling.
- Serve: Serve the BLT skewers on a platter with the avocado sauce on the side for dipping or drizzling over the skewers. Enjoy immediately for best flavor and texture.
