Ingredients
Scale
Garlic Butter Mixture
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Cheesy Tortillas
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly blended to form a flavorful garlic butter spread.
- Assemble Tortilla Stacks: Lay out two large flour tortillas. Evenly spread a thin layer of the prepared garlic butter over each tortilla. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over both tortillas. Top each with another tortilla, forming two layered quesadilla-like rounds. Lightly brush the tops with additional garlic butter to enhance flavor and browning.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to preheat at 375°F (190°C) to ensure it reaches the ideal temperature for crisping the tortillas.
- Cook in Air Fryer: Place one tortilla stack into the air fryer basket. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, flipping the stack halfway through cooking to achieve even golden crispness on both sides. Repeat the process with the second stack.
- Serve: Once cooked, remove the tortilla rounds and let them cool slightly. Slice each round into four wedges and serve warm. These are excellent with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
